Jaco returned to Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung in 2012 after spending two years on Belgian and Luxembourg teams. He previously rode for the team in 2010 when he finished on the podium of the national championships in the individual time trial.

He is also a former under 23 SA national time trial champion and has finished 4th overall in the Tour de l’Avenir. Because of his speed on the bike, he plays a key role in the team’s leadout train and team time trials, he was instrumental in the teams fine TTT performance at the 2014 Vuelta a Espana.

Jaco’s diesel engine is looking forward to the classics season and time trials in stage races during 2015.
